Senior Coach: Ben Reid
Ben is in his 2nd year as non-playing coach of our Senior team. Last year we finished minor Premiers and unfortunately loss the Grand Final by 6 points. Ben is a Player Life Member of our club who played 259 club games. Ben coached the Glenorchy Reserves to 3 consecutive Premierships in 2006, 2007 and 2008. 'Reidy' would love nothing better than to get an opportunity to make amends for last season. |

Assistant Coach: Byron Howard
Byron is in his 1st season at KGV after having a tremendous record at North Hobart as a Player. Byron was a member of the Demons 1991 and 1992 Premiership teams kicking 106 goals in season 1991 and 104 goals in 1995. Since moving on from the Demons – Byron has been a playing coach of Brighton (SFL) winning a Premiership in 1998 and runners-up in 1999 also coaching University in 2001, North Hobart Reserves in 2005 and Assistant Coach in 2006 and most recently coaching the Tasmanian State Under 16 team in 2008/09. Byron has settled in well and been a breath of fresh air – We hope you enjoy your time with the club.

Assistant Coach: Stephen Cox
Stephen is a Player Life Member of our club and also a Roy Cazaly Medalist and a
member of our 1999 Premiership team. ‘Coxy’ was lured back last season to assist Ben with the Senior team. Stephen is a respected member of our coaching panel and it is great to see one of our past players putting something back into his club. |

Reserves Coach: Matthew Shaw
Matthew is another new comer to KGV in season 2010. Matthew played 100+ games with the Claremont Football Club (SFL). In coaching ranks Matthew has had an extensive involvement with the Claremont Junior Football Club and Assistant Coach of Richmond (OSFA) in 2006. 'Shawry' has been well accepted by the playing group and we wish him well in his endeavours. |

Under 18's Coach: Darren Bleathman
Darren is in his 1st season as Under 18 Coach of Glenorchy. ‘Mossy’ is a previous player having played under age football between 1991 – 1994 he then moved on to Claremont and played Senior football there for 3 seasons before returning to Glenorchy in 1998 and playing 7 Senior games under coach Paul Hamilton. Shortly after that Darren moved to NSW and played club football for a few seasons before returning to Tasmania. ‘Mossy’ is in recent times was Assistant Coach of the Claremont U/18’s in 2008 that finished runners-up. |
