The Glenorchy Football Club is pleased to announce that two of their younger players in Aaron Joseph and Brodie Moles have been selected in the AFL Rookie Draft today.
Both were taken as first round picks - Joseph at No 2 by Carlton and Moles at No 16 by Geelong.
Glenorchy Football Club President, Colin Gardner, said the Club was thrilled with the news as it is a reflection of the depth of talent in the Club.
"The picks today show the strength of the Glenorchy Football Club and the hard work done over recent years by outgoing coach, David Newett, in developing and fostering young talent within the Club", Mr Gardner said.
Premiership coach David Newett, who is himself off to a coaching role at North Melbourne, was also thrilled when told the news.
David joins with Colin Gardner and the rest of the Glenorchy Football Club community in wishing Aaron and Brodie all the best for the future and thanking them for their contribution at Glenorchy.
