Last Saturday saw our 1st official practice game in preparation for the 2009 campaign – we took away a very young and unexperienced team and played Ulverstone who are a proud, strong football club with great history from the North West Coast.
Both sides only had 3-4 regular senior players running around. In wet conditions both sides were out to impress their respective coaches to put their hand up for round. 1 selection. Final scores being -

The club would like to thank the Ulverstone and West Ulverstone Football Club’s for their fantastic hospitality and the way they made us feel welcome. Also many thanks to the support staff – Barry Hassett, Chris Hutton, John Jones and Peta Barnett for their efforts in travelling along to Ulverstone and ensuring we had a team on the ground.
