The Tasmanian Team of The Century was chosen in 2005 from over 18,000 players that played football in Tasmania over the last 100 years. AFL Tasmania identified 161 players as worthy nominees of selection in the Tasmanian Team of The Century and than cut it back to the final 25 players.
